Costco called. It’s here to save your kitchen.

I see your “sardine girl summer”…

And raise you “therapy bro summer.” Some mental health pros say now is the best time to start therapy, and apparently more men are checking in (love to see it). Yes, even Bravoleb Craig Conover

Whether you’re trying to find the right therapist (psst… here’s how), on a break, or just wanting a mood boost, here are a few strategies I’m leaning into this week…

Calling all Boy Moms: This new trend can help you push back against the “manosphere” and raise boys who aren’t toxic

Tick season is getting worse. Here's how experts protect themselves.

A new study is calling into question one major assumption we've made about aging.

If you've been waiting to make some kitchenware upgrades, Costco's buzzy new non-toxic arrival has you covered.

The internet lost its mind over this Love Island USA contestant’s filler… and it got so ugly the show had to step in.

The '90s called. They have our sunscreen.

sunscreen

Is your bathroom cabinet stocked with sunscreens you tried once and never used again? One’s too greasy, another is too drying, and it turns out “mineral” is code for “leaves a white residue on everything you touch."

US sunscreens are somehow really expensive and worse than those in Asia, Europe, and Australia.

The why: In the US, sunscreen is regulated as a drug, not a cosmetic. Great, in theory. But in practice, the FDA approval process for new filters is so slow and complicated that brands can’t add newer ingredients to their formulas.

Meanwhile: The rest of the world has moved on to better, safer products –– like formulas that block UVA rays (which cause skin cancer).

What’s next: After decades of paperwork and administrative red tape, the FDA might finally greenlight a new UV filter by next year. Everyone’s waiting — except Kristin Cavallari, who has some, shall we say, questionable views on sunscreen.

For Your Sanity:

Lawful good:

SPF shirts that work better than sunscreen… and actually look cute.

Lawful evil:

The viral-for-the-wrong-reasons Lululemon maxi dress that's divided the internet.

Chaotic good:

A 3D-printed sports bra custom designed by Nike that helped runner Faith Kipyegon set a new record for the women's mile.

Chaotic evil:

The denim workout dress Taylor Swift has cosigned. Because why only squat when you can also chafe?
